Alaskan Cruise

August 23rd-30th

Rick and I went on an Alskan Cruise with Red, Robyn, Matthew and Dillon. We went on the Disney Cruiseline and had the most amazing time!!!! We did three excursions one of which was in Skagway. We took a catamarn across the ocean for about 20 minutes to a beach where we were dropped off at a beach and took a bus up to an area that had a place for us to put rain gear on. Then we took a canoe over to the Davidson Glacier in a lake made by the glacier itself. It was amazing!! After the excursion we all went shopping aroung the cute town.


The next excursion was took place in Juneau. We geared up for a Glacier Float Trip. We saw an incredible glacier in the distance as we floated down the river. Then we came across some rapids. We got a little wet and the water was freezing!!! It sure was fun thouogh. Unfortuneately, we had to be back on the boat by 4:30 so we didn't have time to shop!!!


The last excursion was in Ketichan. We went ziplining! It was so much fun!!! This was the funniest excursion of all of them. On the bus ride up to the ziplines, we all were watching for whaels and bears. Dillion and Rick spotted a baby bear, but by the time we backed up the bus, he was gone. Dang it, I was hoping so much to see a bear. We did 7 zip lines one of which was 600 ft. long. After the zip lines we got to repeal down from a tree about 25 ft. Then we got to slide down a really steep slide.
