Christmas 2008 - Erica's First Christmas

Christmas morning Rick and I went to Linda's. Because the roads were so bad, Zach, Liz, Erica, Karin and Connie did not come down. Zach, Liz and Erica came over Christmas night and we had a wonderful time. Erica is so cute. She can unrap presents no problem. Santa came that morning and she received so many presents. Mom we missed you so much on Christmas. We all know that you were with us in spirit and in our hearts, but it still was so hard without you. You always made Christmas so special. I love you and miss you so much mom. Merry Christmas!!!

Snow in St. George????

Can you believe that it snowed in St. George? We even saw a snowplow on the road. I didn't even think St. George owned one. I think we must have borrowed it. Check out the cool pictures!!!

Nichole's and Max's wedding

Erica 11 months old

I know this is posted a little late, but I wanted to let you all know that Erica is now 11 months old as of November 26th. I can't believe in less than a month my baby granddaughter will be 1 year old.

Thanksgiving was great. Linda, John, Zach, Liz and Erica came over to celebrate the holiday. This was Erica's first Thanksgiving. She ate and ate. She loved all the food. This was the first Thanksgiving without my mom. How hard it is not having her here. Mom we missed you so much. The holidays are not the same without you here. I love and miss you mom so verymuch.

Twilight

November 21, 2008

Linda, John and Connie came down today. We went shopping at Tai Pan and Roberts and then that night went and saw Twilight. We absoultely loved the show. We then went to get ice cream after the movie and what topped off the night, Tim McGraw hosted Saturday Night Live. We had such a great weekend.

Veteran's Day

Rick entered the Marine Corps Toys For Tots in two parades today. The one in St. George at 9:00 and the one in Washington at 11:00. He worked so hard on the float. It looked really nice. It was really fun seeing so many people come to both parades to show how patriotic people still are.

Marine Corps Ball

Rick and I went to the Marine Corps Ball tonight. The ball was at Sun River Clubhouse. It was beautiful. We had a nice dinner, Marine Corps ceremony and dancing. Rick was in the ceremony. In the picture below he is the one on the far right.

Scrapbook USA

I went to the scrapbook expo today. I had a blast. I walked around and looked and of course "bought" some scrapbook stuff. I scrapbooked and went to a way fun class on making an acrylic album. Here is some pics of the album.

Erica's first Halloween

Zach, Liz and I took Erica Trick or Treating. We took her to a few houses and then over to the mall. Erica walked the whole mall. She was so cute. She was still too little to know she was supposed to take the candy and put it in her pumpkin basket.

Erica 10 months old

Wow, Erica is ten months old now. Two months away from one year old.

She is walking pretty darn good now. She started walking at the end of nine months. She is taking a lot of steps. She likes to hold my finger and almost run. She is now getting two more teeth on the top.
